It was the year we all tried to go back to Disney.  2020 slammed small businesses hard, vacation planning companies included.  When the calendar turned to January 2021, many looked at it as the great restart where many people attempted to get back to normal.  Our agents fit that description as well.  While Disney celebrated a 50th Anniversary, introduced Disney Genie and were flippant in their mask ordinances, it didn’t stop our agents from having a memorable year and that what brings us here today…

Welcome to Believe Vacations’ Weekly Post where today, we celebrate the last few days of 2021 by looking back at the Believe Vacations 2021 Year in Review.  For this article, we asked all of our agents to supply one or two highlights of 2021.  We hope 2021 was memorable for you and your family and as we turn the page to 2022, we celebrate Disney’s 50th Milestone, we celebrate our team but most important, we celebrate the families we have served these 12 months and we look forward to the next 12 months of making you a #believer!

Multiple Trips

Brian Pavlick – I never would have thought I could be blessed going to Disney 3 times this year and staying in 4 Deluxe resorts. But to meet my amazing Believe family in person on those trips are memories I will cherish forever!

Amanda Doyle – I never would have imagined in my wildest dreams to be able to travel to Disney 5 times in one year! This team made that possible and the memories I gained meeting some of you I will always cherish!

Kasie Baird – The team trip in January and my 10th anniversary trip in May!

Ashley Suit – Team Trip, 50th WDW trip (staying at the Contemporary Club level and in a Wilderness Lodge cabin), family trip to Disneyland, and a Disney cruise with a double dip to Castaway Cay.

Kyle Holland – All the amazing trips with great friends (including a blast for the 50th) and our first Disney cruise

Amanda Wheeling – All about the experiences. Being at the Polynesian on its reopening day and opening the doors into the Moana themed rooms for the first time. The 2- bedroom villa at Grand Floridian with my family. Trying out split stays, new dining, new fireworks, new after hours events, and even experiencing fun photo pass moments.

Being with loved ones

Ashley Oldham – Being in Disney with my daddy for the first time.

Vicki Siever – Meeting & getting to know everyone on the team trip, great memories & lots of laughs.

Jana Lovins – Watching the fireworks with my niece on her first ever trip! I have dreamt of that moment since she was born 6 years ago!

Whitney Hubbard – Taking my daughter to Disney World for her very first trip! She was about 9 months old but it was still so magical!

Robin Bratton – The January Team trip and meeting some really cool people.

Whitney Turner – Brian’s great bubble gum jump of 2021!

50th Anniversary

Eric Turner – Being at the front of the line to get into Magic Kingdom on the 50th anniversary and watching everyone sprint to the Emporium while I casually strolled down Main Street. Plus the sunrise over Tomorrowland.

Tiffany Bigelow – Being at the parks October 1st for the 50th kickoff!!!

Kim Haig – SO many new experiences at Disney! Lots of first time stays in Deluxe Resorts (we’re now “Deluxe People”?!?). Getting so spend time with so many Believers and strengthening those friendships. 50th Anniversary at the Contemporary and Copper Creek Cabins

Hailey Curtsinger – Seeing all the new experiences for the 50th and the Universal social media trip where I got to meet some of my fellow Believers

Melanie Blackstock – Doing a split stay between Board Walk and Grand Floridan with my family. Bonus was having some of my Believe family there also. We had so much park fun but also loved having some great casual relaxing times to enjoy the resorts too. But I also have to say it was a wonderful time celebrating my 40th birthday at Disney 50th anniversary kick off October 1st.
