No Paul? Best News Ever!
How do I even begin to describe falling in love with a man that loves Disney too? My husband Alan worked for the ESPN sports complex once upon a time. Fast forward a few years and he told me that we were going to meet his friend Paul from his sports days. The plan was to meet up in the Magic Kingdom. So we split from my family so they could run and get fast passes and we would wait for Paul on the bridge. We got stuck in a parade and when it passed, I kept guessing people that could be Paul. When I looked back, he was down on one knee. I remember him saying how important family and Disney was to me and when I said, “yes,” I looked up and my entire family was there and so was Alan’s. We spent the rest of the week celebrating together and the photo captured my joy that entire week. Fun fact, I did finally meet Paul at a RunDisney event!
A picture of a picture is worth a thousand magical words…
It was Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and I had been in training for what should have been my first RunDisney half marathon weekend. But the true race was just beginning. We stood on the same side and one bridge up from where we got engaged. After years of praying, we found this magical spot, held up our ultrasound picture, and announced to the world that Baby Wheels was arriving in June 2015. My true marathon of love was only just beginning!

Then there was my 30th birthday celebration. And it was time, once again, to announce to the world that our family was growing. Trust me, we do not plan our babies around our Disney trips! Using the amazing memory maker package, a wonderful Cast Member took so many pictures for us in front of the castle and gifted them to us so we could load as many as we wanted and share the big news. I pray that my families have the chance to experience the same love and joy I have been blessed with for their own magical memories for a lifetime!
