Welcome to Believe Vacations’ Weekly Post where today, we showcase the pros and cons for planning a Disney trip in November 2021. For this article, we will share important changes, openings/closings, events, tips and suggestions for planning a trip for your family that month. We will try to consider as many areas as we can so let’s see what our milestone month will bring us…
November 2021 Basics
Reservations – For these articles, we need to first consider if there are openings and availability for the parks. As of the publish date of this article, all parks have availability for all dates (see Crowd information below).
Weather -One of the most ideal months to visit in terms of temperatures. You may reach low 80s and drop to the high 50s at night. Perfect days and nights for all ages.
Crowds – Outside of Thanksgiving week, you should be able to enjoy low crowds which means low wait times. With Veteran’s Day being on a Thursday this year, fewer people may take the opportunity for an extended vacation weekend. But Thanksgiving week is always crazy with some of the heaviest wait times during the year, national pandemic or not. We anticipate the week of Thanksgiving to be crowded so book now and make those park reservations early as we predict those days to sell out for at least Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios.
Special Events for November 2021
Christmas Decorations – If you time your visit in November at Disney World just right, you could actually see both the Halloween and Christmas decorations in the parks which are typically switched over during the first week of November. Some resort hotel decorations are not up until late November.
50th Anniversary Celebration – October 1, 2021 is the official kickoff and it will continue for the next 18 months. Exact details of the celebration are few at the moment but expect new decorations, new looks for Minnie and Mickey and spectacles we’ve never seen before.
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival – Enjoy a taste from more than 6 continents complete with sights, sounds and smells for the senses plus the addition of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.
