Welcome to Believe Vacation’s quest to discovering THE GREATEST DISNEY ATTRACTION OF ALL TIME as we continue with another week providing you the results of our recent agent survey. Today, we share what our agents thought were the Magic Kingdom attractions that had the best length of time for each show or attraction. While you can find official run times online, our agents were asked to consider the entire attraction from start to finish.
In and out, nobody gets hurt!
The Barnstormer – Up and down and loop and up and turn and down and loop and done! Or so it seems.
Astro Orbiter – By the time you get used to be so high up and taking in the sights, you’re touching down back to Earth.
Prince Charming Regal Carrousel – Plenty of time to get a few fun pictures but not long enough to complete the Kentucky Derby.
Swiss Family Treehouse – You can kind of go at your own pace on this one but if you don’t stop and take it in, you’ll feel you wasted your time.
The Magic Carpets of Aladdin – Like Astro Orbiter, not a ton of time to take in the sights but enough to figure out how to work the carpet.
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train – When asked how it was after my first experience, my exact words were “criminally short!”
Mad Tea Party – Most of the attractions in this tier have little variation to their track and this is no exception.
Dumbo the Flying Elephant – All three of the circular, flying Magic Kingdom attractions swept the first tier.
Saddle up and buckle in!

Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid – Instead of “buckle in”, its “pull your lap bar down” as you truly journey through the entire story of The Little Mermaid.

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh – Another journey through most of the memorable scenes of this classic, there is enough variety on the track to make this ride seem like it takes a while to complete.

Peter Pan’s Flight – Has to take some amount of time to travel to the “second star on the right and straight on til morning” right?

Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover – Traveling throughout the entire Tomorrowland takes some time, but even with its length, you never want it to end.

Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin – With a handful of different target rooms, you may start a novice but by the time it’s over, you’ll become a true galactic hero!

Space Mountain – If you’ve waited for over an hour, you’d better hope it was well worth the wait. Luckily for us, we get plenty of time in space to make up for the queue time.

Mickey’s PhilharMagic – So many classic songs, a great number of classic scenes, it’s like we truly are visiting everything in the Disney catalog with this attraction.

Country Bear Jamboree – One of the longest running shows in Disney Parks, the performers of Bear Hall give you a much deserved rest from out of the Florida heat.

Walt Disney World Railroad – A long ride around the entire Magic Kingdom, this true treasure of Disney Parks takes its time and allows you plenty of opportunity to rest and take in all the sights and sounds.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad – With 3 different ascents up the mountain, the “Wildest Wild In the Wilderness” is not the shortest. In fact, it is one of the longest roller coasters I ever remember being on.
This is the attraction that never ends….

Enchanted Tales with Belle – Make sure you dedicate almost a half an entire for this attraction, not including wait time. From Maurice’s Cottage, to Belle’s Chambers, to the Library in the Beast’s Castle, we are doing a lot of traveling. And doing a lot of acting with Belle herself. Plus, she takes pictures with all the actors and actresses after so you’re definitely getting your times worth.

Monster’s Inc. Laugh Floor – A very underrated attraction for Disney Parks, enter Monstropolis and be prepared to provide energy to the city with this hilarious gag show. The jokes are spontaneous and ad libbed, the random selection of audience members is pure comedy and the show can’t be stopped until we thank “That Guy!”

The Hall of Presidents – The role call alone for every single President of the United States of America takes a while. Now build a few more scenes and speeches around it and you’ve got one of the most patriotic half hours of your life…..or for some, a nice nap.

Enchanted Tiki Room – This one is truly for the birds….and if you don’t like birds, it’ll seem much longer than it is. But for the Disney purists, this show should always go on because we are in constant fear that one day, our favorite Polynesian ornithological attraction may one day be no more.

Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress – Rightfully placed in this top tier, the family that lives for over 100 years sure makes time crawl to an enjoyable pace. Transitioning between scenes but leaping decades in time, we get to meet John, Rover and their entire family, including Uncle Orville, as they stay relatively the same but technology changes around them. And for all these years that the show has been running, there’s still no privacy!

Splash Mountain – Not even the drop at the end is short! Following the characters of Song of the South, the indoor scenes give us a good look at Brer Fox and Brer Bear and their everyday adventures, trying to track down Brer Rabbit. And because this is a log flume ride, you go the speed of the water on the track which takes its sweet time. Enjoy the slow ride while you have it; a five story drop awaits!

Jungle Cruise – Traveling down 3 of the longest rivers in the world can take a lifetime but thankfully it is only limited to the joke catalog of our friendly skipper. Once he/she runs out of jokes, the boat pulls back to the dock. But along the way, we see many different animals who have created trouble and turmoil for visitors and boat riders alike. Be careful out there as it goes for miles, and miles and miles and if you don’t believe me, you’re in…Da-Nile!

Haunted Mansion – I hate haunted houses, spooky houses, jump-out-and-scare ya attractions, etc. But I absolutely can not get enough of one of the crown jewels in the Disney attraction catalog. From the pre-show to the de-boarding of the Doom Buggy, this slow-moving journey through the many rooms and property of the Haunted Mansion creeps along at a very slow pace, ensuring you see most (but not all) of the details of this attraction. The only “hurry” in this house is wanting to “hurry back” and ride it again.

“it’s a small world” – As I labeled this tier, you may remember it as a play on “The Song That Never Ends” from Lambchop. Well that song and the namesake for this attraction are one in the same. They just go on and on and on and on and on. In the case of the attraction at Disney, that’s not a bad thing. It truly is a wonderful celebration of the many cultures in our world and we get to see the majority of them in the span of a quick boat ride through the attraction.

Pirates of the Caribbean – While “A pirate’s life for me” may only be the length of this attraction, it is plenty of time after all we go through in this journey. Meeting Blackbeard, a talking Skull and Crossbones, pirates pilaging, pirates prisoning, pirates with dirty feet, pirates taking a wench for a bride and of course, all following the antics of Captain Jack Sparrow. Drink up me hearties, yo ho!
Did we miss anything? Have you always remembered your favorite attraction being longer than it was? Leave us a comment in the section below and as always, there’s a great, big, beautiful tomorrow!
