With so many agents under the Believe Vacations family, we all bring so much perspective and personalization towards all of our plans for our clients.  And while that is great, sometimes, we disagree.  Not in a bad way, but in a “I prefer this over that” way.  And many of these different views come in the form of open-ended questions from our clients.  Those sentences that start with “Should I…” and “Would it be better if…” are the ones we treasure and so we’re excited to help you make those tough decisions.

Welcome to our weekly Believe Vacations article where we are beginning a 5-week series on “Either/Or” topics you should consider when planning your vacation.  Topics every week were chosen and sent to our agents and they were asked to send which one they would choose.  Today, we will help you make that all-important first choice when planning a Disney vacation – What resort should I stay at?  Our agents actually got a third choice this round as the options were Value/Moderate/Deluxe.  We hope these answers help you determine which level you want to stay at next time.

Value

Brian Pavlick – Value because I only need a place to sleep and keep my bag.

Taryn French –I’m mostly with Value because I don’t need a lot of time in the room. However, one day I’d like to go for more than just the ride or die and actually stay and play “plush” style.

Amanda Braxton – Value because we like to come to Disney 6 times or more a year and we are never in the room.

Jessica Bouwsma – We spend a lot of time in the parks and mostly need a shower and a bed.

Kyle Holland – My hotel is the place I sleep and I can resort hop to check out the others without paying the premium.

Christie Pownall –Usually value because, like others have said, only spend a small amount of time sleeping there. But LOVE when I have the opportunity to stay at nicer resorts!

Moderate

Amanda Wheeling – The amenities, room sizes and location are perfect. Port Orleans- Riverside with the boat to Disney Springs and the French Quarter is within walking distance with tree lined pathways.

Kasie Baird –We usually do moderate but we are fine with value too. I would love to stay in a deluxe one soon!

Linda Scott – Moderate. Just perfect.

Kerry Murdock – With 5 of us it can be pricey so we usually opt for a moderate. We’ve also stayed at Disney Springs area resorts too.

Eric Turner – I do like the deluxe resorts but I also spend very little time in my room or at the resort so I go moderate.

Savannah Sharp – Moderate/Deluxe—Wilderness lodge is that in between one and is a great happy medium resort!

Kristi Shipp – We have a family of 5 so cannot stay at a Disney value resort. Moderate but Beach Club is our favorite.

Jennifer Garthe – Love the price & relaxed vibe at a moderate. I always go for a good view too. Staring at the parking lot is not magical for me & I’ll pay extra every time for a better view.

Deluxe

Whitney White – We stayed at value every time before our home became Bay Lake Tower. Now I’m pretty spoiled with the monorail. So it would be deluxe for me.

Colette Spirer – Even though we are at the parks all day long and you do basically only sleep in the room, we do love the nice amenities and inside hallways are a must! Plus we like the convenience and option of being able to walk to a park.

Sarah Holton – We hit the parks hard but love the locations of Deluxe resorts for taking breaks and the amenities of Deluxe resorts for feeling relaxed.

Becky Willis – We make time now to take advantage of the amenities we are paying for.

Mary-Morning Radcliffe – Deluxe! Deluxe! Deluxe! I want my room to be nice and my linens to be plush no matter how much or how little I’m in the room. I love the atmosphere, the amenities, and the convenience of the Deluxe Resorts. They’re also great for a long trip when you want to take a break from the parks and just have a resort day.

Depends?

Angela Wehling – We’ve stayed at all and I think there’s a time and place for each of them. Depends on the trip!

Hunter Anderson – The resort really depends on who I’m with and for how long. I really love all of the resorts!

So as you can see, we’re pretty split.  But that is like many of our clients!  Some just want cheapest options and so Values are considered.  Others may want a nicer pool or a resort with a little theming so Moderate may be the choice.  Some just love the spoils that come with Deluxe resorts as well.  Wherever you decide to stay, let your Believe Vacation agent assist you as we find your perfect home during your next Disney trip!
