Isn’t it romantic? I mean what place in the world has more romance than Disney World? Paris? Well, a Paris skyline towers over the France portion of the World Showcase in Epcot. New York? Disney provides wonderful food and crowds and holiday decorations as well. The beach? Have you visited the Polynesian resort or other resorts built with a specific culture in mind? So let’s just agree Disney is both the happiest and the most romantic place in the world and one of our agents agrees with that statement.
Meet Kristi Shipp. Kristi has been with Believe Vacations for about 3 months and has been a tremendous addition to our team. Besides being a cool mom, she is a true romantic when it comes to her husband. So much that they recently stopped by Disney for a nice getaway, just the two of them! Say it with me…LUCKY! Like a great agent, she took notes as she vacationed and specifically thought of the topic of romance during the trip. So this article will focus on her findings and suggestions for best things to do at Disney for romance.

Transportation
Riding the “highway in the sky” was the way to go! We got to resort hop the monorail resorts and without kids, were able to take our time walking the grounds and checking out the shops. Another magical ride was taking the ferry boat from Disney Springs to a resort to walk around or just to enjoy the fun ride. And if you’re in the Magic Kingdom, how could you not ride the People Mover? It’s probably our favorite couples ride !
Attraction
We enjoyed several attractions together and while it may not be a true attraction, the entire World Showcase at Epcot gets our vote. Sampling the food and drinks, experiencing the culture, sights and sounds and pretending we were in another country was a wonderful experience we recommend all couples try together.
Show
We did enjoy sitting and resting at some of the stage shows but you’ll never get more romantic than watching the fireworks over the castle. When we have kids, you are easily distracted if they are frightened by the loud noises and therefore can’t enjoy the moment with your spouse. Me and my husband found a cozy spot at a table to watch the fireworks by ourselves and away from the crowds which made it more special!
Etc.
I would highly recommend a couples massage! No, we did not do this, unfortunately. But I know it would be super relaxing and fun. But I will say that if you are celebrating a special occasion, surprise your loved one with something delivered from the front desk. Disney has a variety of flower and champagnes packages that you can book through the website or by calling the front desk. And of course, have fun, be yourself and take lots of pictures!
And there you go folks! Some romantic tips from one of our own agents at Believe Vacations. Next week, you’ll see the results from our other agents when we asked each other what is best for romance at Disney. Until then, thanks for reading and remember there’s a great, big, beautiful tomorrow!
