What an entertaining 4 weeks we have had with our posts! We focused on the Entertainment options at each of the four parks at Walt Disney World and now we must say goodbye…after looking at the 5th area of entertainment options – Disney Springs!
Welcome to the conclusion of our Entertainment Series where today, we’ll look at the entertainment options for Disney Springs. While it would be impossible to list EVERY artist who may perform at any given time, we have hit the highlights and the “bigger ticket” entertainment attractions. As always, these are subject to change but let’s get entertained one more time.
AMC Movies at Disney Springs 24
I can hear it now – “We didn’t come all the way to Disney to go to the movies!” But what about down days? Days when it rains? Yes, there’s your basic movies on the big screen but how about one of those oversized chairs with tables in front of you? Maybe even the full bar in the lobby?
Exposition Park
Capitalizing on the recent food truck craze sweeping the nation, this is the place to hit up in Disney Springs for food and entertainment. A handful of trucks with different goodies awaits!
House of Blues®
If you’re in the mood for good Southern staples and a live concert, you’ll love this franchise focusing on good times for all. Whether you’re here for the classic dishes, the Gospel Brunch or the amazing concerts featuring mainstream artists, let the music and food feed your soul!
Marketplace Stage
Sunday through Saturday – 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm – Concerts for all ages happen in this open-air amphitheatre. On any afternoon and evening, you may see a virtuoso guitarists, a dance troupe, an orchestra, maybe even the Disney Performing Arts!
NBA Experience – Opening August 12, 2019!
As the game on the hardwood keeps expanding worldwide, it’s time to bring it to those who may never make the league. Families of all ages will enjoy getting drafted by a team, posing in replica locker rooms, playing trivia and arcade style games as well as getting on some courts for some real hoops!
Paradiso 37 Entertainment
5:00 pm – 11:00 pm – Enjoy the flavors of the Americas right on the water. Combining mouth-watering food, hard-hitting drinks, and heart-racing dance and entertainment, adults will find this to be the perfect place to have their own fun at Disney.
Raglan Road Live Music – Patio Stage
8:00 pm – 12:30 am – The ole Irish Pub in Disney Springs is a pretty popular place for a pint. With a fun, Gaelic atmosphere complete with riverdancing numbers and jigs from the house band, bring the kids as they may be asked to dance a number themselves!
Riverboat Square
If you’re not careful, you’ll hear the music but not stop to see where it’s coming from. It may be the sound of a guitar or harp, but you won’t believe what the musicians playing them are doing or HOW they’re doing it!
Splitsville Luxury Lanes™
10:30 am – 1:00 am – Just like the movies, you may not think about bowling on your Disney vacation. But this upscale twist on an American pastime is one for the kids and adults. Combining 30 lanes of bowling with Sushi(?), salads, burgers, pool tables, live DJs….man, get over there now!!
Springs Overlook
Just need the perfect place to sit and take in the relaxation with the sights and sounds? This outdoor alcove is perfect as a waiting area while the loved one shops or just a place to people watch.
Stargazers Live Entertainment
Monday – Sunday – 7:00 pm – 11:00 pm – The street level patio bar is a favorite for those of legal age. Located at Planet Hollywood, enjoy good views, great eats and drinks and live entertainment as the sun goes down on another day at Disney.
Sunshine Highline
This outdoor venue gets its design from an elevated railway track. An underrated location for underrated musicians, you may find yourself mesmerized by the incredible talent of these artists before remembering you were at Disney Springs for another reason.
The Edison Live Entertainment
Along a long wait, this classic establishment is here to stay at Disney Springs. Go back in time to the roaring 20s, watch the live singers and dancers and other artists. And once 10pm hits, it’s adults only with a house-band, dancers, aerialists and other performers sharing their talents.
Aerophile – The World Leader in Balloon Flight
Imagine a bird’s eye view of the entire Walt Disney World! Hop into this hot-air balloon basket and let the views speak for themselves!
Marketplace Train Express
All Aboard the….Marketplace Train Express?? While it ain’t the monorail or the Walt Disney World Railroad, the littlest of children can enjoy a few laps around a small track and have a great time.
THE VOID: STEP BEYOND REALITY
Virtual reality is amazing but adding some video and laser tag elements makes this experience, well, REAL! For instance, immerse yourself in a Star Wars mission to capture imperial intelligence. Or this fall, do to the depths of the internet with Wreck-It Ralph. 10 minutes never went by faster!
Vintage Amphicar & Italian Water Taxi Tours
By land or by sea, these car/boats are awesome! One minute, you’re cruising on the cobblestones and the next, you’re drifting on the water. Your captain/driver person will take you on a quick tour around the lake from the launch area and give you a spin you’ll never forget!
